Selected as "People's Choice Best Poster, Honorable Mention" at UIST 2015

We presented research results on text selection methods for touch interfaces such as smartphones on November 8-11, 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our poster was awarded "People's Choice Best Poster, Honorable Mention" at this largest UI conference in the world, UIST2015 (User Interface Software and Technology Symposium)(external link). The conference participants voted on their favorites, and ours was among three posters chosen out of 20 presented on that day.
We had the opportunity to do live demos and exchange opinions, and we also came away with new ideas. We want to put this experience and knowledge to good use in our future research.
