Kazumasa Okabe Web Designer
I was born in 1983 and grew up in the Saitama prefecture countryside. After studying applied chemistry at the university, I joined Yahoo! JAPAN as a designer new graduate in 2006. There, my greatest achievement was to contribute as a “Web Developer Black Belt” on the renewal of Yahoo! JAPAN and Yahoo!検索 [Yahoo! Search] services. My fields of expertise are developing HMLT5/CSS3 websites and building dynamic websites using JavaScript and PHP. I’m also quite experienced in improving page loading speeds and markups performances. Recently I also took a liking to HTML5 hybrid applications and am currently learning Swift. Finally, I participated in many UI focused International conferences and my work “Fix and Slide: Caret Navigation with Movable Background” was adopted at UIST2015 and mobileHCI2016.
